  • The Railways of Palestine and Israel details the history of all lines in Palestine and Israel, ranging from obscure and ephemeral narrow gauge military lines to the existing standard gauge network.
  • *Sorry - Sold Out* By contrast, the Hedjaz Railway tells the amazing story of a remarkable line, built as a religious railway by the Turks and subsequently much fought over by, among others, Lawrence of Arabia.

Allied Military Locomotives of the Second World War gives a comprehensive account of the many interesting locomotives, both steam and diesel, built for the British War Department and the United States Army Transportation Corps during the Second World War.

GWR Engineering Work, 1928-1938 reviews the impressive works carried out by the Great Western Railway during the course of a decade in which the company seemed to rebuild their entire system notwithstanding the Depression.

*New* Petroleum Rail Tank Wagons of Britain deals with the history and design of rail tank wagons used for carrying petroleum and allied products in England, Scotland and Wales from its beginnings in the late 1870s to the present day.
